Puglia IGP Verdeca 2018

This Verdeca rises in the marvelous Salento territory, from vineyards located 100 meters above sea level.

Verdeca grapes are only harvested in the second half of August. Vinified with a 6-8 hours cold pre-maceration and fermentation in French oak barrels, it ages in the same containers for 3 months before being placed on the market.

It has a straw yellow color with beautiful golden reflections. By bringing the nose to the glass it is possible to perceive tempting hints of white flowers and vanilla. It is fresh and mineral on the palate, characterized by a fine and persistent savory texture.

It is excellent with both seafood and shellfish. It goes well with boiled fish seasoned with light sauces.
