Puglia IGT Negroamaro Hipster 2016 Ferro 13

Puglia Negroamaro Hipster di Ferro 13 was born in vineyards located on the Salento coasts, south of Brindisi.

It is mainly produced with Negroamaro grapes and with other red berried grapes, harvested between the end of September and the beginning of October, in two steps, the first at full aromatic maturity, the second in over-ripening. The fermentation takes place separately for single harvest, as well as the maturation which takes place for 6 months in steel, for the first harvest, and for 6 months in small capacity barrels, for the second harvest. After assembly, the wine rests for 30 days in steel before being bottled.

Ferro Hipster 13 has an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with a complex bouquet, with hints of red berry fruits and currants, enriched with spicy notes including pepper predominates. On the palate it is full-bodied, soft and harmonious.

Perfect to accompany grilled meat, this wine is ideal in combination with seasoned cheeses and spicy dishes. Try it in combination with Basque tapas.
