Puglia IGT Negroamaro Primitivo Raro 2016 Cantina Museo Albea
Description
Puglia Negroamaro Primitivo Raro di Albea was born in vineyards located in the Bari area of Alberobello, in the heart of the Murge.
It is made with Negroamaro and Primitivo grapes, mechanically harvested. Fermentation takes place, with 16 days maceration, in stainless steel silos, at a controlled temperature of 22-25 ° C. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 8 months in Allier barriques and in bottles until it is released onto the market.
The Rare di Albea is characterized by an intense and dark ruby red color. The nose opens with intense aromas of black fruits such as blueberry, blackberry and dried plum, enriched with refined notes of liqueur. On the palate it is powerful and balanced, recalling hints of graphite.
Perfect to accompany roasts and grilled meat, it is ideal in combination with game.
