Rheingau QbA Estate Rauenthal Riesling 2017 Georg Breuer

Georg Breuer's Riesling Estate Rauenthal stands on the steep slopes of the Rheingau, where ideal conditions are found for the ripening of the grapes such as favorable exposure and protection from the strong north winds by the Taunus mountains.

It comes from pure Riesling grapes, harvested only when the perfect degree of ripeness is reached. Once fermentation is complete, the wine ages partly in barrels and partly in steel.

Light yellow in color with greenish reflections, it opens to the nose with notes of exotic fruit, ginger and citrus fruits, surrounded by delicate floral hints. In the mouth it reveals elegant and structured, with a nice mineral touch and fruity hints in the aftertaste. It closes on a slightly sugary finish which makes it a unique and highly drinkable wine.

Perfect to serve with fresh cheeses and seafood appetizers.
