Description

The Marieta Albariño by Martín Códax is a white wine from Rías Baixas that represents the most modern and original version of Albariño. It is the first example of semi-dry Albariño, designed to break traditional molds and offer a fresh and innovative experience. It originates from the Atlantic essence and colors of the Galician coast, expressing a lively and charismatic personality.

Produced with hand-picked Albariño grapes selected in the vineyards of Val do Salnés, it is carefully vinified to preserve freshness and varietal typicity. Aging in steel maintains the purity of the grape variety, enriched by a fruity and floral aromatic profile that reflects the character of the territory.

Visually, it presents a bright straw yellow color with greenish hues. On the nose, it features notes of yellow-fleshed fruits such as peach and apricot, ripe citrus, and floral hints of orange blossom. On the palate, it is enveloping, smooth, and round, with a harmonious balance between sweetness and freshness and a fruity and persistent finish.

It is ideal when paired with Asian cuisine dishes like curry and Thai or Japanese cuisine, as well as fish, seafood, and fresh cheeses.
