Description
The Albariño Leirana is a Spanish white wine produced by Forjas del Salnés in Galicia, in the Rías Baixas, from Albariño grapes grown on vines that are 40–60 years old. The vineyards are located 60 meters above sea level and have roots in sandy-granitic soils, with a density of about 1,300 plants per hectare, expressing an authentic and fresh territorial identity.
The harvest is carried out manually, and the vinification takes place in stainless steel, preserving the aromatic integrity of the grape variety. Malolactic fermentation is not carried out, a choice that allows for maintaining a pronounced natural acidity.
The wine presents intense citrus aromas, floral notes, and hints of salinity and sea. On the palate, it is fresh, linear, and vertical, with vibrant acidity, marked minerality, and a savory finish that invites the next sip.
Ideal with seafood, ceviche, or grilled white fish.
