Description

Celeste Roble is a red wine from the Ribera del Duero appellation, made from Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) grapes grown at an altitude of about 895 meters. It originates from the Pago del Cielo estate, owned by Familia Torres, where the continental climate and the connection between sky and vineyard give the wine a vibrant and distinctive character. The area is characterized by a high temperature variation and ideal conditions to best express the qualities of the native variety.

The winemaking process involves a maceration on the skins for 15 days and an alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature between 20°C and 26°C for about a week. The wine is then aged for 3 months in oak barrels, a short but effective process that gives it roundness and a slight spicy note while maintaining the integrity of the fruit.

In the glass, it presents a very dark cherry-red color. On the nose, it reveals intense aromas of ripe black fruit, particularly cherry, accompanied by a hint of smokiness. On the palate, it is velvety, juicy, and rich in fruity extract, with fine, very rounded, and mature tannins.

Thanks to its soft structure and fruity profile, it pairs perfectly with roast lamb, stews, and dishes based on eggplant or tomato sauce.
