Description

The Roero Arneis Anterisio from Cascina Chicco is a Piedmontese white wine produced in the municipality of Canale, one of the most historical and suited areas for the cultivation of Arneis. The Anterisio subzone, documented as early as 1041, is characterized by a clay-limestone soil that gives the wine minerality and structure, while preserving the native grape variety's typical character.

The harvest takes place in the first decade of September, with manual collection in small perforated crates. After a night in a cold room at 0-2°C, the grapes undergo crushing with cryomaceration, a technique that involves contact between the must and the skins even for white wine. This process, carried out entirely cold, allows the maximum enhancement of aromas and guarantees excellent longevity. The wine then rests exclusively in steel tanks until bottling.

It appears straw yellow with greenish highlights. The scent is intense and persistent, with fruity notes of apricot and apple, enriched by hints of chamomile and sometimes a spicy touch. On the palate, it is savory, harmonious, and endowed with good structure, with a balanced finish that enhances the elegance of the grape variety.

Ideal in combination with pasta dishes or risottos and seafood cuisine preparations.
