Description

Ciampoleto is a Rosso di Montalcino from Tenuta San Giorgio, produced in the Castelnuovo dell’Abate area on the south-eastern side of Montalcino, from vineyards located between 250 and 400 meters above sea level. Made from Sangiovese grapes cultivated according to the principles of sustainable agriculture, it expresses the authentic character of the land thanks to soils rich in stones and clay, which lend the wine balance, freshness, and a distinct identity.

The grapes, hand-harvested and carefully selected, are vinified in cement vats with short macerations to preserve the freshness of the fruit. The wine is aged for a period in Slavonian oak barrels and cement tanks, allowing it to develop harmony and balance while maintaining its vibrancy.

In the glass it shows an intense ruby red color. The nose reveals fresh and vibrant aromas of small red fruits accompanied by elegant floral notes. On the palate, it is smooth and enjoyable, with good structure supported by lively freshness and a harmonious finish that recalls fruity and floral sensations.

It pairs perfectly with pasta dishes, white and red meats, and medium-aged cheeses.
