Description
Rosso di Montalcino di Val di Suga comes from vineyards located in Val di Cava, in the Sienese municipality of Montalcino, in Tuscany.
It is produced with pure Sangiovese grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand in the first ten days of October. Fermentation takes place, with maceration for 15 days, in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 30 ° C. Subsequently the wine ages for 3 months before being marketed.
This Rosso di Montalcino is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with elegant hints of ripe red fruit, enriched with pleasant spicy notes. On the palate it is dry and enveloping, with a full and velvety body and a very long and persistent finish.
Perfect to accompany structured first courses, it is ideal in combination with grilled red meats.
