Rosso di Montalcino DOCG 2017 Poggio Salvi

It is a wine that comes from the vineyards located in the highest points of Montalcino, from the same Sangiovese Grosso grapes from which Brunello is obtained.

The must ferments in steel tanks at a temperature of 28-30 ° C for 12-14 days. It ages for 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels and in the bottle for a further 2 months.

It presents itself at the sight of a bright ruby red color with purple hues. The nose is dominated by aromas of fresh red fruit accompanied by delicate sensations of wild flowers. On the palate it has a fruity and soft taste, accompanied by elegant tannins.

It lends itself to pairings with first courses and roasts but also with medium-aged cheeses.
