Description
The Sauvignon Rubicone Uve Portate a Cesena from the 1502 Da Vinci in Romagna line by Leonardo da Vinci is an aromatic white wine produced in the Romagna region, made exclusively from Sauvignon grapes grown on fine-textured clay and silt soils. The vineyards are located at an altitude between 100 and 300 meters above sea level, with a prevalent north and north-east exposure.
The harvest is carried out manually during the first week of September. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16°C for 10 days, encouraging the development of the varietal characteristics of the grape and the preservation of aromatic freshness.
It appears in the glass as a deep straw yellow with greenish reflections. The bouquet is intense and varietal, dominated by broom and eucalyptus, with elegant notes of citrus peel. On the palate, the attack is firm and savory, with a full and warm structure, well balanced by a pronounced and harmonious acidity that ends in a long, citrusy finish.
Ideal paired with fish dishes, shellfish, and fresh cheeses.
