Description

Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Dents de Chien by Olivier Leflaive is a white wine made from Chardonnay grapes sourced from a single vineyard located in the upper part of the Saint-Aubin region, on the border with Puligny-Montrachet. The well-draining limestone soil and southern exposure promote optimal ripening of the grapes, giving the wine elegance and expressive precision.

The winemaking process involves the use of whole clusters with a period of static settling, followed by alcoholic and malolactic fermentations in oak barrels; aging takes place in wood with a brief stay in stainless steel, allowing for the development of complexity while maintaining freshness and finesse.

On the nose, it is bright and expressive, with aromas of ripe fruit enriched by delicate notes of tea and verbena; on the palate, it is harmonious, long, and refined, with an elegantly perfumed finish.

It pairs perfectly with fish dishes, vegetables, and delicate preparations.
