Saint-Romain Blanc AOC 2017 Alain Gras
Description
It is a Chardonnay from Burgundy that originates in the Saint-Romain area, whose clay and mineral soils know how to give the wines elegance and finesse.
The grapes come from vines with an average age of about 40 years, grown according to a sustainable viticulture method. A partial destemming of the bunches precedes the pressing and vinification, which includes both alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, both carried out in wood. Refine for 12 months in oak barrels.
Straw yellow. The nose is toasted, with flavors of dried fruit and vanilla. Savory and round in the mouth, it develops in the expansion of a large and soft sip, well managed within a framework of freshness. It persists in the memory of vanilla.
Perfect to combine with a spaghetti with clams.
