Description
The Acante was born in the Apulian vineyards of Castello Monaci, not far from the city of Lecce and the sea, on the road to Taranto.
This wine is produced entirely with Fiano grapes, grown on clayey soils with the presence of tuffaceous limestone and harvested around the middle of September. The wine is left to macerate on the skins for about fifteen days, to ensure perfect and complete extraction of the aromatic fraction of the wine. The product ferments in steel at low temperatures, to then refine on its own yeasts thus enriching the mineral notes and the flavor.
Acante has a pale straw yellow color. The nose offers fruity aromas of pears and pineapples, with sweet honey notes. In the mouth it is fresh, lively and well balanced, with sensations of fresh fruit and a hint of walnut that accompanies the finish.
It goes well with appetizers and risotto, perfect also in the company of dishes based on fish or grilled vegetables.
