Description

The Medos was born in the lush Salento vineyards of Castello Monaci, in Puglia.

This wine is produced entirely with Malvasia Nera di Lecce grapes. The vinification, at controlled temperature, takes place in stainless steel vats with 10-12 days maceration and scheduled pumping over. Once the malolactic fermentation is complete, aging in steel continues until bottling.

It has a deep ruby red color. The nose dominates a pleasant fruity with sweet derivative notes. In the mouth it is full and elegant in flavor, with flavors of sweet licorice.

It goes perfectly with important dishes such as grilled red meats and aged cheeses.
