Duca d’Aragona is a red wine produced by Candido; this prestigious wine combines the power of Negroamaro with the roundness of Montepulciano. It is a structured and intense red wine, designed to express aromatic richness and depth, while maintaining a strong connection with the Salento region.

The destemmed grapes undergo prolonged maceration in the must, promoting complete extraction of color and noble substances. Fermentation takes place with selected yeasts at a controlled temperature, followed by a long stay in barrique that allows perfect integration between the fruity component and the spicy notes of the wood.

Visually, it shows a bright ruby red color with slight orange reflections. The bouquet is intense and refined, with notes of toasted coffee, tobacco, and leather, accompanied by elegant balsamic nuances. On the palate, it is warm, austere, and harmonious, with great balance and a long finish.
