Description

The Negroamaro Quattronotti Limited Edition is a red wine produced by Montemajor in the heart of Salento, made from pure Negroamaro grapes grown as traditional Apulian "alberello" vines on predominantly calcareous soils; the name refers to the four nights dedicated to manual harvesting, carried out during the coolest hours to preserve the integrity and quality of the grapes, thus expressing the territory’s authentic and intense soul.

Vinification involves a pre-fermentation cold maceration followed by maceration at a controlled temperature, in order to extract colour, aromas, and structure in a balanced way; ageing takes place in stainless steel tanks, a choice that keeps the varietal purity of Negroamaro intact and enhances its fruity and spicy characteristics.

In the glass, it displays a deep and intense red colour; the nose is complex with notes of very ripe fruit, enlivened by hints of vanilla and spices; on the palate, it is elegant and velvety, round and full-bodied, with a solid structure, pleasant freshness and a harmonious, persistent finish.

It pairs very satisfyingly with structured meats, roasts, aged cheeses, and traditional Apulian desserts.
