Description

The Salento Tormaresca Calafuria is produced at the Tormaresca estate, located in Puglia in the Salento area.

It is made exclusively from Negroamaro grapes, hand-selected, gently destemmed and softly pressed. The resulting must is placed in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 10°C to allow natural settling. Subsequently, alcoholic fermentation takes place at low temperatures, around 16°C, to preserve the primary aromas of the grape variety. The wine is then briefly aged in steel and for 4 months in bottle before release.

It is a wine with a seductive bright pink color, with coral highlights. On the nose it opens with delicate scents of red fruits and raspberry. On the palate it is fresh and savory, with a perfect balance between softness and acidity.

This wine is excellent with delicate first courses featuring fish or vegetables. Also ideal with white meats or fish dishes.
