Description

Furia di Calafuria by Tormaresca is a rosé wine made from Negroamaro, Syrah and Cabernet Franc, created to express the elegance and character of the Apulian rosé tradition. The grapes come from the Alto Salento area, a Mediterranean landscape shaped by its closeness to the sea, where vineyards coexist with woods and pine forests.

The grapes are harvested separately by variety, destemmed and gently pressed. The must is cooled to encourage natural clarification and then ferments in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, in order to preserve freshness and aromatic expression. The wine ages for a few months in steel on its lees; the different components are then blended and the wine continues to rest in bottle before release.

In the glass it shows a delicate, pale and luminous pink hue. The nose is fresh and fragrant, with citrus, fruity and floral nuances; on the palate it is balanced, pleasantly fresh and well-structured, with a harmonious, lingering finish.

Ideal as an aperitif, it pairs nicely with seafood appetizers, shellfish, fish, sushi, white meats and Mediterranean dishes.
