Description
This Rosato del Salento comes from Negroamaro grapes rich in color and aromas that arise on calcareous and flat soils, from vineyards that share space with centuries-old olive trees. The word "bloom" refers to the light dust that forms naturally on the grape skins, which prevents the berries from dehydrating and is particularly evident in the vines later in life.
It is obtained from pure Negroamaro grapes that remain to macerate for 6-8 hours in order to extract the desired pink color from the skins. The must ferments in stainless steel at a temperature of 11-12 ° C, and still in steel the wine remains during the refinement phase which lasts for 4-5 months.
It shows a bright pink color. The bouquet of aromas that reaches the nose reserves fruity scents that recall raspberry and strawberry to mint. In the mouth it is full and persistent, with a smooth drink.
It goes perfectly with summer first courses, fish and white meats. Also excellent for an aperitif.
