Description
This wine is produced from the indigenous grape variety Tuchì (Tocai Friulano), a delicate and rare grape that was once at risk of disappearing and today represents a rediscovered viticultural heritage. The Campo del Soglio by Podere Selva Capuzza is an effort to enhance this variety, which is capable of expressing finesse, aromatic elegance, and a discreet mineral complexity.
The grapes are hand-picked and transported in crates for gentle pressing. The must is immediately cooled and stored in stainless steel tanks where fermentation begins at a controlled temperature. After aging in steel, the wine is bottled between spring and summer and continues to age for a few months before being marketed.
On the nose, it reveals subtle but distinct aromas, ranging from thyme to chamomile, with floral and vegetal nuances depending on the vintage. On the palate, it is linear, clean, and delicate, with sensations of warmth and softness well balanced by a slight almond note and a fresh and savory finish.
It is perfect with dishes based on lake fish, bitter vegetables, or slightly spicy preparations.
