Description

Henri Bourgeois' Sancerre Blanc D'Antan originates in the Loire Valley, more precisely in the Sancerre area.

The grapes used are 100% Sauvignon Blanc and come from a single parcel planted in 1936, defined by extremely mineral and silica-rich soils. The work done in the vineyard is aimed at preserving the environment intact and arriving, at the time of the harvest, with healthy grapes and a high quality profile. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in barriques, where the wine ages for some time in the presence of its fine lees.

To the eye it appears straw yellow. Its perfume asserts itself on fruity notes with a prevalence of citrus, a spicy texture and a light smoked finish. In the mouth it shows an elegant and very sapid character.

Excellent to accompany grilled prawns.
