Sannio DOC Coda di Volpe 2015 Oppida Aminea

Coda di Volpe wine is born in the splendid Campania hills of the Sannio area, inside the Oppida Aminea estate.

This wine is made exclusively with Coda di Volpe grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. After the traditional white winemaking processes, 70% of the product ages in steel, while 30% rests in 25Hl oak barrels.

Coda di Volpe is characterized by a bright straw yellow color. The nose offers, with elegance and finesse, a remarkable aromatic complexity, for the aromas of ripe fruit and dried fruit that mix very well with the floral sweetness, the intensity of Mediterranean spices, citrus and honey notes. On the palate it shows a sapid and mineral vein that is well accompanied by a pleasant fullness.

Perfect with appetizers and elaborate first courses based on fish, it is excellent with savory pies and vegetables.
