Description

The unusual is the purity of Chenin Balnc signed by Thierry Germain, owner of the Domaine Des Roches Neuves in Saumur.

It comes from a type of biodynamic agriculture, aimed at maximizing the natural expressiveness of the grapes and the terroir. The grapes, harvested strictly by hand, are born from vines planted on clayey, silty and limestone soils. 4 months of alcoholic fermentation precedes 9 months of aging on its fine lees inside large wooden barrels.

At sight it reveals straw yellow hues. The scent is varied in its flavors of yellow fruit and citrus, including peach, grapefruit and lime; the background is made up of white and yellow flowers, chamomile and a creamy note of almonds. It enters with an elegant flavor, which sharpens the finesse of the sip. Based on freshness and delicacy, it is in all respects a classy wine.
