Description

The Sicily Insolia of the Tenute Ibidini line of Valle dell'Acate was born in vineyards located in the Ragusa municipality of Acate, in the heart of Eastern Sicily.

It is produced with pure Insolia grapes, harvested and selected by hand between the first and second ten days of September. Vinification takes place traditionally in red, after which the wine ages in steel for 4 months and for another 2 months in bottle before being released on the market.

This Insolia is characterized by a greenish yellow color. The nose opens with a pleasant citrus bouquet, enriched with light notes of jasmine. On the palate it is fresh and fruity, with a well balanced acidity.

Excellent as an aperitif, this wine is ideal in combination with fresh cheeses.
