Description

The Catarratto by Feudi del Pisciotto is a fresh and fruity white wine, produced in Niscemi, in the heart of Sicily, from 100% Catarratto grapes. The vineyards are cultivated on medium-textured soils tending to sandy, located at 80 meters above sea level. It is part of the Colori di Sicilia line, which celebrates the island's native vines through labels inspired by the ceramics of master Giacomo Alessi, evoking the scents and colors of Sicilian citrus with strokes of orange and yellow.

Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and varietal aromas, followed by malolactic fermentation carried out naturally. The ageing process includes four months in stainless steel and two months in the bottle.

Visually, it presents a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose, it expresses aromas of white-fleshed fruits such as peach and pineapple, accompanied by floral hints of jasmine and orange blossom. The taste is characterized by a pleasant citrus imprint, with a fresh and savory finish that enhances its versatility and balance.

It pairs perfectly with fish and seafood dishes, white meats, grilled vegetables, and soft or semi-mature cheeses.
