Description

This Frappato by Tasca d'Almerita is produced on the Regaleali Estate, in the province of Palermo, and is obtained from Frappato grapes grown in the Viale delle Noci vineyard. The soil is medium-textured, with a balanced presence of sand and clay, slightly calcareous and deep, characteristics that favor balanced vine growth and contribute to the final quality of the wine.

The winemaking process involves fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 20°C, lasting about 10 days. The malolactic fermentation is carried out entirely to soften the acidity and give more roundness. The wine subsequently matures in steel tanks to preserve its freshness and aromatic integrity.

It presents itself with a bright ruby red color. On the nose, there are fragrant aromas of small red fruits and fresh flowers, accompanied by delicate spicy notes. On the palate, it is lean, lively, with silky tannins and a harmonious finish that invites the next sip.

Ideal pairing with cured meats, grilled white meats, or rustic pies with vegetables and cheeses.
