Description
Sicily Perricone Guarnaccio di Tasca d'Almerita was born in the historic San Lucio vineyard, in the Regaleali estate of Palermo, Sicily.
It is made entirely from Perricone grapes, a variety known locally with the name of Guarnaccio. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel for 13 days, at a controlled temperature of 25-30 ° C. Once the malolactic fermentation is over, the wine undergoes 12 months of aging in French oak barrels of Allier and Tronçais.
It has a very intense ruby red color. The nose exudes persuasive hints of spices, accompanied by notes of undergrowth, geranium and eucalyptus. On the palate it is structured and complex, pleasantly harmonious in the finish.
Try it with salami and medium-aged cheeses, it is excellent in the company of roasts and grilled meats.
