Description

The Nero d'Avola from Feudi del Pisciotto is a young and fruity red wine, produced in Niscemi from 100% Nero d'Avola grapes, the most representative black grape variety of Sicily. The vineyards are cultivated on medium-textured soils tending towards sandy, at an altitude of about 80 meters. It is part of the Colori di Sicilia line, which celebrates local wine excellence, with a label inspired by the colors of the Sicilian sun and Nero d'Avola grapes, created by master ceramist Giacomo Alessi.

Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and aroma, with natural malolactic fermentation. It is followed by five months of maturation in steel and two months in the bottle.

In appearance, it has a bright ruby red color. The aromatic profile is intense and fragrant, with notes of red fruits like black cherry and cherry, accompanied by floral hints of violet and myrtle. On the palate, it is fresh, enveloping, and velvety, with a pleasant acidity that provides balance and vibrancy.

It pairs perfectly with aged cheeses, grilled or roasted meats, forest mushrooms, and game dishes.
