Description
The Nero d'Avola di Morgante Sicily comes from vineyards located on the hills of Grotte, in the province of Agrigento.
It is produced exclusively with Nero d'Avola grapes, harvested in the first half of September. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 26-30 ° C for 15 days. Subsequently the wine ages in barriques for 4-6 months, and for 2-4 months in bottle.
This Nero d'Avola is characterized by an intense purple red color. The nose opens with elegant aromas of black cherries and blackberries, enriched with pleasant spicy hints of vanilla and black pepper. On the palate it is pleasantly fruity, with a pleasant acidity and velvety tannins.
Perfect to accompany roasts and grilled red meats, it is ideal in combination with game.
