Description
Urra di Mare is a wine that embodies a new expression of Sauvignon Blanc, whose essence is influenced by the sea breezes of the Menfi coastline. The vineyards, facing south and southwest, are located on medium-textured, clayey soils.
The harvest takes place during the second week of August. A brief cold maceration is carried out, after which the must ferments in stainless steel at a controlled temperature. The wine matures in steel tanks for 4 months.
It shows a straw yellow color with golden reflections. The aromatic spectrum revolves around citrus fruits, peach, and apricot, layered over hints of mint and basil. On the palate, it is mineral, harmonious, and fresh, with a persistent finish.
Ideal to pair with oysters and grilled fish, it is perfect with a plate of seafood.
