Description

The Rosso Tancredi di Donnafugata Sicily is born in the vineyards located in the Contessa Entellina estate, in the heart of south-western Sicily.

It is produced with Cabernet Sauvignon and Nero d'Avola grapes. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with maceration on the skins at a controlled temperature of 26-30 ° C for about 12 days. Subsequently the wine ages in oak barriques for about 14 months, and in bottle for a further 24 months.

Tancredi is characterized by an intense red color. The wine has a pleasantly fruity bouquet, enriched with notes of red fruits, among which the berries and plums stand out, blended with balsamic and licorice hints. On the palate it is complex and elegant, with noble tannins and well balanced by a pleasant fragrance.

Perfect to accompany red and roasted meats, it is ideal in combination with game and braised meats.
