Description

The Starship of the Sienese brewery L'Olmaia presents itself as a new beer in the Italian artisan brewing scene. Born in 2013, this beer has a very complex rock soul: Starship is, in fact, the name of the Boeing 720 used by Led Zeppelins to go on tour in the seventies. Olmaia wants to pay tribute to this band, creating a beer with a character outside the box and able to amaze and impress those who taste it.

It presents itself with an opaque amber color, with copper shades. The nose has an intense herbaceous scent, with interesting sweet hints of biscuit and honey, with fragrant sensations of bread. In the mouth it reveals its double nature: at an apparently sweet beginning, where biscuit sensations return, an intense and persistent hoppy bitter takes over which gives originality to this product.

This beer goes very well with roasts, cold cuts and cold cuts.
