Südtirol - Alto Adige DOC Flora Cuvée Bianco Riserva 2015 Girlan

The Alto Adige Flora Cuvée Bianco Riserva Girlan originates from vineyards between the ages of 10 and 15 which are located on the hills of Oltradige, in the Cornaiano area.

It is made from a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc grapes, harvested by hand in small containers and immediately transported to the cellar. After a soft pressing of the whole berries and a short sedimentation, the fermentation takes place separated by variety in French oak barrels. After the malolactic fermentation for Chardonnay, the wines aged in cask for 12 months on fine yeasts and, once assembled, for a further 12 months in bottle before being released onto the market.

The Cuvée Flora Bianco Riserva by Girlan is characterized by a straw yellow color. The nose has intense and fresh aromas of white-fleshed fruit. On the palate it denotes a remarkable structure, accompanied by sensations of sapidity and minerality of great persistence, in perfect balance between them.

This wine is ideal to accompany refined dishes, including meat dishes.
