Südtirol - Alto Adige DOC Gewürztraminer Terminum Vendemmia Tardiva 2015 Tramin

Alto Adige Gewürztraminer Terminum Late Harvest of Tramin comes from the vineyards of Sella, north of Termeno.

It is made entirely from Gewürztraminer grapes, harvested by hand in late December, once the bunches have been attacked by the "noble rot" Botrytis Cinerea, and then placed in small containers. After a 12-hour maceration and light pressing, the fermentation takes place slowly in barriques for 6-9 months.

The Terminum di Tramin has a deep golden yellow color. The nose opens with pleasant fruity aromas of peach, apricot, lychee and mango, enriched with notes of orange zest, honey and lily. On the palate it is intense and aromatic, with hints of ripe yellow fruit, caramelized butter and spices, in perfect balance between freshness and sweetness, with a finely mineral and persistent finish.

Perfect to accompany desserts and dried fruit, this sweet wine is ideal in combination with seasoned and blue cheeses. Excellent meditation wine.
