Südtirol - Alto Adige DOC Moscato Giallo 2016 Castel Sallegg
Description
The Alto Adige Moscato Giallo di Castel Sallegg is born in vineyards located in the municipality of Caldaro, in the province of Bolzano.
It is produced exclusively with Moscato Giallo grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 15-18 ° C. Subsequently the wine ages on fine lees for 4 months in stainless steel barrels, before being bottled.
Alto Adige Moscato Giallo has a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose opens with citrus scents characteristic of the grape, enriched with pleasant fruity aromas of apple and mango. On the palate it follows the sensations perceived by the nose and proves to be a fresh and pleasantly persistent wine.
Perfect to accompany aged cheeses and fruit-based courses, this white wine goes well with the typical recipes of Asian cuisine.
