Description
The Alto Adige Pinot Noir of Castel Sallegg was born in vineyards located in the municipality of Caldaro, in the province of Bolzano.
It is produced with pure Pinot Noir grapes, carefully picked and selected by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28 ° C for 15 days. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 12 months in French oak barrels, before being bottled.
Ruby red in color, Pinot Noir from Castel Sallegg opens to the nose with pleasant aromas of red berries and cherries, enriched with spicy aromas. On the palate it is balanced and round, medium-bodied, with a long and pleasantly persistent finish.
Perfect to accompany white and red meat dishes, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
