Description

The Lagrein Riserva Taber of the Cantina di Bolzano it comes from the alluvial vineyards surrounding Bolzano, which are over 80 years old.

It is obtained entirely with Lagrein grapes, red top grape of the South Tyrolean wine scene, whose harvest takes place between the end of September and the first half of October. Fermentation takes place entirely in wooden barrels. Then the wine ages for about 12 months in French oak barriques.

Inscrutable garnet red color, it has a pleasant fruity bouquet based on cherry and ripe berries, enriched with notes of violet, eucalyptus and vanilla. On the palate it is intense and persistent, with soft tannins, of great elegance and freshness.

Perfect with red meats and game dishes, it is ideal in combination with particularly aged cheeses.
