Description

The Santa Maddalena Gries from the Cantina di Bolzano comes from the splendid South Tyrolean vineyards enclosed in the DOC Santa Maddalena.

It is mainly produced with Schiava Gentile and Lagrein grapes, harvested between the second half of September and the first half of October. After the classic red winemaking processes, the wine ages partially in large oak barrels and the remainder in steel.

Of medium intensity ruby red color, it offers the nose a slightly floral bouquet, accompanied by notes of red cherry. The flavor is dry, full and harmonious.

Excellent in the company of red meats and aged cheeses, it goes well with pasta dishes and cold cuts typical of the South Tyrolean territory.
