Tequila Añejo Tapatío Tapatio
Description
Tapatío's Tequila Añejo is produced by the Camarena Hermanos SA distillery in the state of Jalisco, Mexico. It is obtained exclusively from agave according to an ancient artisan process handed down from generation to generation. After cooking in a traditional oven of clay bricks and grinding in the characteristic "tahonas" in stone, fermentation takes place in wooden vats, followed by distillation in discontinuous copper stills and aging of 18 months in ex American white oak barrels whiskey.
Of an intense straw yellow color tending to amber, Tapatío's Tequila Añejo brings sweet aromas of cooked agave, crème brulee, vanilla and caramel, enriched with delicate notes of cinnamon and chili pepper. In the mouth it is pleasantly sweet and spicy, with flavors of cooked agave, cocoa, vanilla and pepper, with a soft and velvety finish of beautiful persistence.
Suitable for the preparation of cocktails, it gives its best served straight or on ice cubes.
