Description
Terre di Casole Rosso was born in the beautiful Cielsereno farm, nestled in the rolling hills of Casole d'Elsa, in the province of Siena.
Made mainly with Sangiovese and Merlot grapes, harvested entirely by hand, this wine is left to ferment for 12 days and macerated in steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Malolactic fermentation follows and a short refinement of 3 months in barriques, where the wine stabilizes its organoleptic characteristics.
Terre di Casole di Cielsereno has a very intense ruby red color. The nose offers very decisive fruity aromas, with notes of cherry and black cherry that blend with sensations of black fruit and, at the end, with elegant touches of black pepper. In the mouth it shows a medium structure, with smooth tannins and a good freshness which gives the wine excellent longevity.
Excellent with grilled red meats, it goes well with cold cuts and cured meats and mature cheeses.
