Description
The Terre Siciliane Rosso Sondiennenne of Casematte Winery is born in vineyards located in the splendid scenery of the Strait of Messina, in Faro Superiore.
It is produced 70% with Nerello Mascalese grapes and 30% with Nocera grapes. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 22 ° C with daily pumping over. Subsequently the wine ages in barrique before being bottled.
It is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with a large bouquet, with hints of plums, raspberry and blueberry, enriched with pleasant spicy notes of white pepper and vanilla. On the palate it is slightly tannic and with a balanced body. The wine has a pleasantly persistent finish.
Perfect to accompany grilled red meats and game, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
