Description

Calanìca Grillo comes to life from the vineyards of Duca di Salaparuta in western Sicily, which are affected by a well-balanced climate between mild winters and hot and dry summers, with significant temperature variations between day and night.

The harvest takes place by hand in the second half of September. The bunches are softly pressed and the must starts a fermentation of over 10 days at a temperature of 16 ° C. The wine ages in steel for at least 2 months on the fine lees.

Brilliant straw yellow with greenish reflections, it perfumes the nose of white-fleshed fruit and Mediterranean scrub. The sip is large and fresh, with excellent persistence.

Suitable to accompany light dishes, both based on fish and white meats.
