Description
Terre Siciliane Il Principe di Rallo was born in vineyards cultivated organically, located in Patti Piccolo, in Alcamo, in the province of Trapani.
It is made with a blend of local red berry varieties, harvested manually between the end of September and the beginning of October. The must ferments in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 22-24 ° C, with maceration on the skins for 8-10 days. Once the malolactic fermentation is over, the wine ages in steel for at least 6 months and in wooden barrels for 5 months before being bottled.
Il Principe di Rallo is characterized by an intense red color with purple hues. The nose opens with clear hints of cherry and red berried fruits. On the palate it is soft and balanced, with good body and persistence.
Perfect to combine with red meats, it is excellent with seasoned cheeses.
