Description
Terre Siciliane Colomba-Platino di Duca di Salaparuta was born in vineyards located in the Tenuta di Rosignolo, in the hills of Ribera and Cattolica, in the province of Agrigento.
It is obtained from pure Insolia grapes, harvested and selected by hand between the second and fourth week of September. The fermentation of the flower must takes place slowly in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16-17 ° C for a period of 15 days. Subsequently the wine ages for a long time on its lees and in the bottle for at least 2 months, before being put on the market.
Straw yellow with greenish reflections, it opens to the nose with evident hints of yellow fruit, among which the melon, medlar and peach stands out, enriched with notes of broom and aromatic herbs. On the palate it is fragrant and delicate, with a pleasantly persistent finish.
Perfect to accompany marinara risotto, crustaceans and seafood, this white wine is ideal in combination with appetizers and fish dishes in general.
