Toscana IGT Belvento Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 Petra

The Tuscany Belvento Cabernet Sauvignon di Petra was born in vineyards located in the splendid landscape of the Tuscan Maremma.

It is produced entirely with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, carefully picked and selected by hand, between the end of September and the beginning of October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, at a controlled temperature of 27 ° C. After the malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 12 months in large and small oak barrels, second and third passage, and for another 3 months in bottle before being put on the market.

It is characterized by an intense red color with ruby reflections. The nose opens with a large and intense bouquet of ripe fruit, enriched with hints of berries. On the palate it is spicy and velvety, with balanced tannins and a pleasant aftertaste of licorice.

Perfect to accompany red meat dishes, it is ideal in combination with stewed meats and fresh cheeses.
