Description
The Tuscany Cabernet Sauvignon Falconeri di Uggiano comes from the hills that connect Montespertoli to Montelupo Fiorentino and San Casciano Val di Pesa.
It comes from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese grapes, which ferment for 18-20 days, with maceration on the skins, at a controlled temperature of 26-28 ° C. The wine then ages in Allier, Nevers and Vosges oak barriques for 12 months, continuing its aging in oak barrels for a further 10-12 months, in steel until bottling and for at least 12 months in glass before being put on the market.
The Falconeri di Uggiano has an intense ruby red color. The nose gives a complex bouquet, which consists of wild fruits and cloves, with vanilla and wood tips. In the mouth it is a wine and full-bodied, with pleasant tannins.
Delicious with grilled or stewed meats, it goes very well with first courses of good Italian cuisine or a tasty pizza.
