Description

Clinio by Tenuta Fratini is a red wine produced in the area of Donoratico, in the municipality of Castagneto Carducci, from a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyards grow on complex sedimentary soils, characterized by limestone, claystone, sandstone, and siliceous rocks, which give the wine structure and elegance.

The winemaking process involves a rigorous selection of the grapes both in the vineyard and in the cellar, followed by fermentation in truncated-cone stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature with indigenous yeasts. The wine is then aged in second and third passage oak barriques, developing balance and complexity.

In the glass, it appears with a purple-red color with violet highlights. On the nose, it offers a complex bouquet with sweet Mediterranean notes and fruity sensations that blend harmoniously. On the palate, it is refined and persistent, with a balanced tannic texture and a structure that supports its evolution over time.

It pairs perfectly with red meats, cheeses, and meat-based pasta dishes.
