Toscana IGT Cost'è 2017 Banfi
Description
Cost'è originates from the vineyards of the Banfi estate, which extends along the southern slope of the municipality of Montalcino.
It is mainly obtained from Sangiovese grapes, to which is added a small percentage of Vermentino grapes, which ferment in separate steel tanks. Sangiovese is subjected to a very short contact with its skins in order to obtain the desired color. Assembly and bottling follows.
It presents itself to the eye with a soft pink color. The nose reveals notes of red fruits characteristic of Sangiovese, which perfectly combine with citrus and sage hints typical of Vermentino. In the mouth it is fresh and lively, but at the same time with a good structure. Closes on a persistent finish that invites to the next sip.
Perfect for an aperitif, it goes well with light courses based on white meat or fish.
